For Sale, By ME! Lady Cardinal This charming little bird was hand embroidered in my own custom design. It is based on a female cardinal that often visits my bird feeder. The ten pastel colors of embroidery floss used, although not hers in nature, are based on her shape and patterning.The finished design was stretched and secured onto an acid free base board, given a custom, hand-cut, oval matte and mounted in a charming 5x7 inch black, wood frame. It would look beautiful on a shelf or hung on a wall and would would make a great gift for any occasion!This item includes the mounted art, custom oval matte, and frame with glass. It can me mounted in the frame with, or without the glass (as shown.) Overall dimensions with frame are: 8-1/2 x 6-7/16 x 13/16 inches.The title of the piece is “Lady Cardinal”

I wonder why some things can’t be functional AND beautiful without being outrageously overpriced. The engineers and the designers need to get together, and stop thinking of each other’s trades as inessential.
